Known as "V" by family and friends, Valerie was born on the southside of Chicago and raised in the Mohave Valley of western Arizona. With a mixture of City Urban Vibes that dive deep into the Eastern Philosophy teachings of Swami Vivekananda, studying scripture and world religion for over 20 years, walking along the palm-tree lined river and desert washes in the hot Sunshine, discovering crystals, apothecary and ancient native wisdom. Her music is hard to put in a box or genre, however, you may find it carries an interesting eclectic vibe of Reggae, Soul, Spirituality, Hip-hop and Indi. Through transformation and breaking free from religious constraints and traditional methods, she umbrellaed her businesses under one, now known as Beauty Through Breakthrough 🦅 Her goal is to inspire others to break free and her hope is that her story and music cause such inspiration ✨ Her heart 🤍 posture is always to partner with God to cultivate inner beauty and wellness in everyone she meets.
